A couple of weeks ago I posted an article about getting a sense of New York in just two days, which I’d say is quite an accomplishment.
However, to some people getting a sense of place has more to do with living the experience of the area, away from the landmarks and the crowds of tourists.
And in the City of Blinding Lights, one of the best ways to do this is by visiting some of the most popular New York restaurants.
Ok, I know roller coasters are not exactly historical sites or key features in political events.
But to me sometimes travel is also about leaving the mind behind a little bit and giving the body some exciting new experiences.
I happen to adore the Orlando (and Tampa) Theme Parks and in future posts I’ll cover the most amazing attractions. However for this post I will concentrate on the scary and amazingly fun steel and iron beasts that are roller coasters.
I love my cultural travel to be meaningful, memorable, fun and stress-free. I like my trips to bring me new experiences and enlighten me with new intriguing and amazing knowledge.

Schmap is so much more than a website. It’s a comprehensive service covering local businesses and events so that you know what’s going on in the local scene, but in my opinion, the best of their services is their city guides.
